I learned how to make these lovely summer treats while I was sitting by the pool at Costa D’ Este. I had just taken another sip of my delicious frozen grapefruit margarita when the pool attendant walked up to me and offered me a cute little stick with frozen grapes on it. Wow:) What a refreshing taste of nature! This idea is so simple & quick:) You can make these and have them ready for your guests within about an hour. The Great thing about this is that it is VEGAN, VEGETARIAN, GLUTEN FREE…. and the list goes on- another words it is perfect for just about EVERYONE at the party, adults and children. Speaking of children, this would be a great treat your children can make:)
Vacation Grapes
idea from the Costa D’Este
- Any kind of seedless grapes
- toothpicks
- Wash your grapes.
- Put one toothpick through one grape starting where it was connected to the vine poke the toothpick through the grape
- Place toothpicked grapes in the freezer on a freezer safe plate until frozen ( mine took about an hour)
- Right before serving take out and place on a plate ( it makes a really nice presentation if you use fancy toothpicks or take them off the tooth picks and place in a decorative bowl) These would also be great in a fancy drink:)
- Serve & enjoy… just don’t let anyone know it was really that easy..LOL
